Oakland County Homeland Security is again offering Severe Weather Safety Training (aka Skywarn), free to all who wish to attend. Attendees are provided a spotter card and are authorized to call in severe weather events (heavy wind gusts, hail, tornadoes, post storm damage, water over roads, heavy rainfall rates, and waterspouts). The class is presented by the National Weather Service and is extremely informative. Attendees are also encouraged to be "spotters" and are provided guidelines for doing so in the class as well as handouts.

Our rockin’ City offers residents of all ages a wide range of things to do and see.
